Dr. Code completed his undergraduate degree at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon, and his podiatric medical education at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. He completed his surgical residency training at the VAMC and Stanford University Medical Centers in Palo Alto, California.

Dr. Code is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Sugery. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Oregon Podiatric Medical Association. He has Medical Staff membership with surgical privleges at Rogue Valley Medical Center, Providence Medford Medical Center, Ashland Community Hospital and the Surgery Center of Southern Oregon.

Dr. Code has been an active member of the medical staff. He has served on several hospital committes including the Infection Control Committee, the Department of Surgery and is past Chairman of the Podiatry Section of the Surgery Department. He has done a significant amount of volunteer work, including at La Clinica de Valle and overseas in Vietnam.

While Dr. Code specializes in all surgery of the foot and ankle, his special interests include reconstruction of the forefoot and rearfoot, revision of prior failed surgeries and trauma.

He lives here in the Rogue Valley with his four children. Hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping and music.
